It's that time of year again,
Where my room gets cold and the skies turn grey.
Go through old boxes, look at pictures of back then,
Read all the letters that I wrote last May.
As the day grows cold, this awkward silence bold,
Look where we are, now you're gone.
As sunset steals day, you sent me on my way.
Tonight the streetlights didn't turn on.

My friends think I'm suicidal, but I say it's just my thoughts.
I write these songs to explain my mind, but I can never get my point across.

How can I kill myself and make sure that she still knows I love her?
I need her around, but I can't promise her forever.
This is something I can't explain, and I'm sorry.
I'm starting to think that this sadness is killing me.
